Job Responsibilities
  • WordPress Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Customization: Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring they meet specific client needs while maintaining best practices.
  • Frontend Development: Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress-related frontend technologies.
  • Backend Development: Create custom backend functionality using PHP, WordPress hooks, actions, and filters for optimal performance and flexibility.
  • Database Management: Work with MySQL databases to design and manage data storage for WordPress sites.
  • API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance WordPress functionality and ensure seamless interaction with external systems.
  • SEO Optimization: Ensure that WordPress websites are SEO-friendly by implementing SEO best practices and using relevant plugins like Yoast SEO.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform regular updates, bug fixes, and backups to ensure the health and security of WordPress websites.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize WordPress websites for speed, scalability, and security, ensuring fast load times and minimal downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure that the WordPress sites are delivered according to client requirements and deadlines.

    Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field.
  • Certifications: WordPress development, PHP, or web development certifications are a plus but not required.
    • Experience Requirements
    1. 1-2 years of experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development.
    2. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
    3. Experience with WordPress APIs, custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields.
    4. Familiarity with WordPress plugins like WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and other commonly used tools.
    5. Understanding of responsive design and experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap.
    6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    7. Experience with site optimization, security practices, and troubleshooting.
    8. Prior experience working with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce is a plus.
